Following last year's rave reviews, Greg Joseph, Robert James, and Scott Blasey of the Pittsburgh-based band, The Clarks, will perform again as The Clarks Acoustic Trio at the Richland Performing Arts Center.
Their set will feature special guest musicians from Richland's String Orchestra performing side by side with the band on selected songs for a great community outreach opportunity. Affordable $10 adult tickets (less for seniors/students!) are made possible by Richland Music and Theatre Boosters!
The Clarks became a rock-n-roll band in the fall of 1986 at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. They played their favorite songs by their musical heroes in the basements of houses and the corners of bars. They covered the Rave-Ups, the Plimsouls, Hoodoo Gurus, and created a template for their own music.
The Clarks made records, toured the country, and played on Letterman. They started families, wrote more songs about love and loss, and were honored by their alma mater. At the Richland Performing Arts Center, the band will put on an acoustic show featuring great Clarks songs and some of the guys favorite covers.
