Sound System
 

The House mix site in Richland Theatre is located at the rear of the house in the control room, approximately 115’ from the lip of the stage (the proscenium is 48’wide). In addition the house also has three more locations that road shows can mix from. One is Orchestra seating level center, left, and right. The mix site is open to the seating area, on a raised platform (provided).

Sound system power is hard wired in at the house mix sites. If your show does not carry a power distribution system or your electrical needs are more modest, 120 volt, 20 amp circuits on both sides of the stage are available for your use.

The Richland Performing Arts Center house sound system consists of the following:

Equalization:

House: The house sound system is controlled through a sound web equalizer. The system is setup through a computer, and autonegotiates equalization every second in our house.

Monitors: Rane ME 60 Dual 1/3 Octave Equalizer (2 channel 1/3 octave graphic)

House uses a 2-way radio system for FOH/BOH and BOH/BOH communication.

HAD:
Auditorium has a Telex ST-300 Personal listening w/ RM-S Rack Mount hearing assistive system, which is used for all shows. It accepts a console feed or may be fed from the auditorium monitoring system microphones.

Monitoring:
Soundfield of stage is distributed to all production areas, lobby, and dressing rooms.

Paging:
Pages can be made into the same areas serviced by the monitoring system. Paging system overrides the monitoring system and all individual volume controls. Pages may be made from the control room. A chime system is also available through the paging system.
