Be Prepared - with broadway/Disney's Gavin Lee auditions due: MASTERCLASS & show: April 13
REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
JOIN BAND (must do so to be in show) This show will feature student talent and is your chance to pick your own favorite song to perform! - The show must be from a Disney Musical. This may include stage musicals owned by Disney or film movie musicals but should be under the Disney umbrella. Here is a list of Disney stage productions. Again, you may also choose songs from Disney films. - Anyone in grade 7-12 or 6th graders performing in this year's Junior musical may audition. - If you just want to be in the group number but not perform alone or as a group, you may do this as well. Just indicate this when completing the audition form. - You may choose to perform alone or with others - Vocal, Instrumental, and Dance performances are all acceptable. - You may put together your own live ensemble - The orchestra will be performing on 1-2 numbers with vocalists. The person/people singing these numbers will be based on your audition. We may add a live orchestration to one or two of your songs or pick a new song for this. - During the Masterclass, some of you will have the opportunity to sing your song for Gavin Lee and he will provide feedback. This opportunity will based on your audition and your desire to do this. - All who are in the show must attend the tech rehearsals, masterclass and rehearsal for the group number.
SPECIAL SOLO OPPORTUNITIES: In addition to your own prepared solos or small group numbers, there may be a few other opportunities for solos that are part of some featured performances put together by the directors. Some of these performances will have Rock Orchestra Accompaniment. Anything in this category will be announced at a later date and be based on your auditions. AUDITIONS Submit a video of your proposed performance with anyone who will be performing with you by INSERT DATE Submit your audition using this Google Form We may ask for a follow up in-person audition in some cases.
