CAN I JUST SING AND DANCE WITH GAVIN LEE IN THE GROUP NUMBERS? Yes! Complete this form to let us know you'd like to. You must attend 2 after school rehearsals prior to the event to do so. AUDITIONS Submit a video of your proposed performance with anyone who will be performing with you by February 21. Submit your audition using this Google Form We may ask for a follow up in-person audition in some cases. REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE Below is the rough schedule. Students performing solos or as featured groups must attend all of the events below.
Schedule Monday, April 13, 2026 9 AM - 3 PM: Workshops 9 AM - 10 AM: Dance Workshop (Step In Time) 10 AM - 11:52 AM: Script Workshop (Gavin will bring script you will prepare in groups) 11:56 AM - 12:36: PM Lunch 12:40 PM - 2:40 PM Song Interpretation (Students bring prepared selections from show or other for feedback) Break 4 PM - 6 PM: Rehearsal for show 6 PM: Break/Dinner 6:30 PM: Doors Open 7 PM: Performance
This show will feature student talent and is your chance to pick your own favorite song to perform! - The show must be from a Disney Musical. This may include stage musicals owned by Disney or film movie musicals but should be under the Disney umbrella. Here is a list of Disney stage productions. Again, you may also choose songs from Disney films. - Anyone in grade 7-12 or 6th graders performing in this year's Junior musical may audition. - There will be group numbers with Gavin. If you just want to be in the group numbers but not perform alone or as a group, you may do this as well. Just indicate this when completing the audition form. - You may choose to perform alone or with others. - Vocal, Instrumental, and Dance performances are all acceptable. - You may put together your own live ensemble. - The orchestra will be performing on 1-2 numbers with vocalists. The person/people singing these numbers will be based on your audition. - During the Masterclass, some of you will have the opportunity to sing your song for Gavin Lee and he will provide feedback. This opportunity will based on your audition and your desire to do this. There will be one section dedicated to acting and another to singing. - All who are in the show must attend the tech rehearsals, masterclass and rehearsal for the group number.
