"SOMETHING ROTTEN" and "Dreamland" audition information

WHAT ARE THESE SHOWS?
Something Rotten is a Broadway hit that recently became available for high school licensing. It has a PG-13 rating so students participating in this show should be comfortable with stronger language and some adult references. Read more about the show synopsis here.
Dreamland is a new musical by the writers of Broadway's Tuck Everlasting which was written specifically for high school theatre. The show is a B Movie style take on Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream centered around the declassification of Area 51. This show has a G rating. The show is a Find out more about this show here.
WHEN ARE THE AUDITIONS?
DANCE AUDITIONS
There will be two Dance Workshops where you will learn the audition choreography and perform your dance audition on that day. You must come to at least one of the workshops to complete your audition, but are welcome to attend both!
Please contact Mrs. Easler ASAP if you cannot attend either of the workshops to arrange for your dance audition.
The first hour of the dance workshop will be a Broadway Jazz audition that all actors must complete. The second hour will be a tap audition for anyone who would like to be considered for the Tap Ensemble in the show. (ALL actors will learn some tap for the show, but there will be a featured tap group.) Any actors who would like to be considered for the roles of Nick Bottom, Shakespeare, and/or Nostradamus are strongly encouraged to complete the tap audition.

*If you have character shoes and/or tap shoes, please bring them to the Dance Workshop(s).
ACTING & VOCAL AUDITIONS

*You are not required to do both shows. We will ask you at auditions (and you will indicate on your Actor Information Form) if you are auditioning for one or both of the shows.

WHEN WILL THE CAST LISTS BE RELEASED?
The cast list for "Something Rotten" will be released shortly after auditions and prior to Monday, December 5th.
There may be callbacks for "Dreamland" at some point during the rehearsal period for "Something Rotten" and the cast list for this show will be released once casting is finalized.
